Singles Events Group for the over 45s

We started with 14 people just a year ago and now we are up to about 140 members, all with get up and go.

If you're fed up watching TV, doing the same thing you did last weekend, you're stuck at home on a Friday night and you'd like to get out more and have more fun in your life and you are truly single then come along and join us.

Our first meeting

In January 2009 a group of us got together at Slatters in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

A great group of people turned up, we all made some new friends and we resolved to meet again.

We have already had quite a few enjoyable evenngs and more are planned. The great thing is that everyone brings ideas and experiences to the group as you can see from the list on the left.

Where

Initially this is for people in and around Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, the Malverns, Worcester, Pershore and Evesham. But we're getting interest from Oxford, Swindon, Bristol and Manchester. It's up to you where we take it.

Next Steps

We are a members site by members for members. If you want to improve your social life then join us.

We're trying to make it as easy as possible so there is no joining fee, no monthly fee, simply free. You don't need to publish your photo, complete a profile or anything really.

You do need to be thoroughly nice, honest and truly single.

Walks calendar

January update - seems like everyone is staying indoors right now and probably the best place to be whilst discussing what's coming up.

On the short list is to reinstate the very popular evening walks as soon as possible.

The forum is also discussing how to manage the walks to cover all levels of fitness and ability.

24th January - Bredon Hill starting from Great Comberton - 10.30am

5-6-7th June - long weekend walk in Snowdonia, again with options to allow everyone to be involved.
